Dear Son..
It is your 14th week of Life now. I love how you used to really stretch with all your tiny might when we stealthily change you out of dirty diapers in the wee hours. It was tiring to pry open our eyes in the darkness of the morning but it was hilarious to watch you go at it.
Where have the clumsy reflexes gone to?
We miss them.
Now your eyes would be the ones opened while getting changed. That scares papa, you know. He's afraid you cant get back to sleep and he has to lull you till the cows come home. That of course with mama pretending to sleep like a dead log. Every sound you make wake me up in an instant. You dont know it but i peep at your little squirms and shrieks as the daylight approaches, you know, just in case you needed our comforting.
I caught you doing your first flip - tummy to back - this evening as i was laying you down to sleep. It was probably because you were arching your head so far back that your head was too heavy to balance, causing you roll to your side and then on your back. It was too dark by then for me to film with my iPhone (damn!) so i could only watch, snap blurry still pictures and imprint it in my memories.
I told papa and aunty vithya, they too were proud of your achievement.
Love,
your mama
