Dear Son,
i watched as you tried to do a side to tummy flip today. Your left arm got stuck underneath while trying to throw yourself, so i gave a little nudge.
Then you wanted more action.
You lifted your bum high up on your awkwardly outstretched legs, fearlessly splayed your chest & cheeks to the bedsheets; with each war cry, you heaved and attempted to propel forward with your ten tiny toes.
I watched you struggle for awhile. Good job on burning calories!
Sometimes in peak of exhaustion you turned your view on me to take a rest and break out into your cheeky smile.

I know you gave your best, son. I can smell whiffs of your morning milk. It's kinda amusing to see you end up taking comfort in sucking your fingers instead.
Dont stop at trying okay. I'm just at your side waiting to give your comfort in my bosoms, whenever you're ready to get down for your nap.
Soon enough you'll be able to crawl :)
Love,
Your MAMA
